Imagine a group of college students living together in one house, trying to figure out how to pool their limited funds to get the bills paid on time. That’s how Billhighway began in 1999, as a simple cash management solution for roommates.
Even in those pre-Facebook days, word of this new accounting solution spread from house to house and campus to campus. By 2003, Billhighway was the most sought after higher education financial solution in many Greek organizations and student clubs on campuses across the country.
It wasn’t long before Billhighway began to mature as a company. Our team’s leaders began looking beyond college campuses to see if there were other kinds of organizations that could benefit from our streamlined financial system.
Today, we work with all types of nonprofit organizations—big, small, old and new—to help manage their financial needs. Our goal is to change the way nonprofit and member-based organizations do business by making every aspect of their financial management as easy as possible.
