Can you imagine a room full of association professionals ready to find solutions for component challenges? This was the setting we had during the Component Hackathon session at ASAE Annual this year. In the end, it wasn’t surprising that participants found a number of innovative ideas to tackle our four challenges.

Membership Hack: Career-Stage Mentorships

Each year, members of the Illinois Park and Recreation Association have the opportunity to apply to IPRA’s ProConnect mentorship program. It works to increase engagement with other members and staff by grouping members based on compatible characteristics, geographic location and career stage.
