New Chapter Models: Lessons at #AssnCEX2017

Associations are tweaking, evolving and revamping their chapter programs. According the ASAE Foundation Mutually Beneficial Volunteering Relationships44% of associations in the study indicated they reviewed their structure and 41% added or deleted components or made a change within the past five years.

Examples of this will be part of the conversation at CEX: Association Component Exchange on October 13 in Arlington, VA. Kicking off the day-long dive into chapters will be a session on the Future of Chapters highlighting Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) and North Carolina Association of CPAs.

The conversation will draw in other examples including from Patrick Algyer, Senior Manager, Volunteer Relations, Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and Dresden Farrand, CAE, Vice President of Chapter Development, Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IEC).
