When it was published in late 2016, Tech Success for Associations, an ASAE Foundation report based on DelCor’s IT Maturity Model, revealed—for the first time—the state of technology maturity among associations.
The report “sheds light not only on the current state of association technology, but offers a vision of what associations can do to prepare for the future.” Let’s look at some of these findings and what they mean for your association’s technology management moving forward.
The report finds—and most members agree—that many associations are doing okay, even though they aren’t at the top of the IT maturity scale. However, it’s no surprise that Millennials, as digital natives, expect more from their associations. The report notes:
“As members see what can be achieved through technology in other arenas, their expectations for their associations shift.”
